Unofficial Fix
Alongside of setting the compatibility mode to Windows 7 this should fix the CTD if you still experience them Open Nvidia ControlPanel In Manage 3D Settings, find the game (add it in if it's not listed, select the Launch_EA.exe ignore everything else) Find "Preferred refresh rate" And set that to "Application Controlled" !NOT! "use global setting (application controlled)" !Just! "Application Controlled" Confirm/Save and exit. If you have a Gsync monitor you can safely turn off Vsync, if not set Vsync to option nr 1, this is the option that gives you 60fps. Turning off Vsync gives you higher fps but it might be because of that the game crashes.
