As Mrtnptrs said, the image is objectively oversaturated compared to official sources, such as Steam. Additionally, I have the Wii disc case on my media shelf (bought it new back in 2008, and it hasn't faded), and can confirm that the Steam cover's colors are accurate to the disc case art. Yes, I don't like the current PNG's colors, but there is sufficient evidence to suggest the the current JPEG has the correct colors.<br> | As Mrtnptrs said, the image is objectively oversaturated compared to official sources, such as Steam. − | Zooming into the latest PNG, I can also see JPEG artefacts. I originally uploaded the 1K PNG back when thumbnails were generated at only 80% quality, so the artefacting around the red Lego logo was very ugly (our eyes are most sensitive to poor compression of the color red). Thumbnails are now generated at 95% quality, so a PNG duplicate is no longer necessary (there are still artefacts, but you have to pixel-peep to see them now). I made a similar change with Lego Lord of the Rings and am working on going through the old LucasArts titles that also do this. | + | Zooming into the latest PNG, I can also see JPEG artefacts.
