So, 4 months ago (from the moment that I'm writing this post) I beat Fable 3 few times. I beat it as a good guy, I beat it as a bad guy and after I had a power in my house were out instantly and returned back I turned my PC back ON and noticed that my Fable 3 saves were gone. And after that I decided to stop playing this game since then because I played it enough. And so now, after 4 months (maybe more, depends on when you reading this) I decided to replay Fable 3 again because, I decided to create complete save file for myself. And so, after installing the game and the mod that should get rid of all lags and after playing it for 5 minutes, I noticed that game started to lag like hell. So I closed the game, and when I tried to operate in my Windows 10, by opening game's folder to see if I did everything right, I noticed that Windows 10 itself started to lag, and so I restarted the PC via start menu and then lag was gone after the restart.
Then I decided to try different solutions to solve this problem. Since, back when I first time played this game, it worked fine on low settings and with that mod, that gets rid of all lags. I checked if I installed everything correctly, and everything was installed fine. I googled information about why it lags, and I found few solutions. One of them saying that, I should go to the game's folder and delete VideoGameSettings ini file, because game creates another same file on C:\ path and thus it makes these two video files conflict between each other. And I did just that, and thanks to that game, from what it looked like, started to work even better with no lag, but the game itself started to look a bit worse than even on low settings. But, after another 5 minutes game started to lag back again! And this is where I gave up because, I don't know what else can I do with this game to make it work. Like, it worked for me when I played it last time, but for some reason it does not wanted to work for me now.
And yes, back when I first time played this game, I was using Windows 10 x64 PRO 22H2, and the same Windows 10 I'm using right now. But why is it started to lag and I can't get rid of the lag, I have no idea. I tried even a compatibility mode with Windows XP and even Windows 7, but like it did before, it started to lag back again after 5 minutes of gameplay. So yeah, if anyone knows how to make this game work properly on Windows 10 then let me know because, I ran out of ideas and I lost faith in making it work again properly.
