Topic on User talk:Macgovern

Since moderators already noticed that the user Sandemc and me are having diffilcuties on how things should look like. He's posting false information by making it look like the latest Steam/RGL version of GTA IV is an option for modding. It's clearly not and there are a tons of reasons why this should be clear: -IV already haves 3 patches to choose if you want to mod the game so new users would be even more confused with another patch. -From a logical point of view most people will probably think latest patch/version = best one and more stable which is not the case at all with IV. -He combined both of my visual mods (Which I haven't added originally to the site) and made it look like iCE 3.0 Natural is the ENB version of my timecycle mod which is wrong and false information.

I agree that my behavior was aggressive and that I should've handle this situation better but it pisses me off when people touch my stuff without knowing what they are doing. I'm modding the game for over 10 years now and I know what's possible and what's not. I know what's a good idea to do and what you definitely shouldn't do. This guy is just like "It's possible in certain ways so why not?" without knowing how stuff for this games works. It was just adding confusion for newbies. I'm also in touch with the most known modders from the community so I could make sure that this guide page for IV is actually useful, clean and good. Not just modding related. Overall technical related of course. I just wanted to help the community but in case certain people aren't able to appreciate that I'll just go on but all I really tried to do was helping folks with clear and proper information.
