When editing a page, when you expand "Advanced" (I think expanded by default) you will see a "Reference" option, hover over that and click "checked by user". Found it? Your username and date will be pre-filled in, but nice to edit the comment of it to something like "I'm Portueges and recognized because of this and this that the language x is actually y" :) The "URL" option is thus to add a page on the internet as a source, like the changelog of developers on Steam.
