First of all thank you for maintaining this page; I have so much on my hands that any kind of help is thankful.
I noticed that there was removal and re-addition of a section between these two commits recently:

I would just like to leave a note. The game follows a "best 2 out of 3" format. The game not playing a 3rd stage if a player wins twice in a row is intended behaviour.
Therefore I'm not sure if that section is actually a fix. It's more of a mod if anything. It might be more fitting to move that to SCHG on Sonic Retro; or if really needed I could make a standalone mod.
