Yes. I got the the level in blown up Washington with burning cars on the street with the setting at 1000. Frame rate was suddenly down to 25 from an average of around 55. So I lowered culling to 100 and got back the average of 55. It does something ! However I was still getting some frame rate fluctuations but not as bad, but the real problem is slow downs in combat that actually got me killed on more than one occasion. That seems to have more to do with the AI which might not be threading properly. At least the culling setting makes everything a bit more bearable.
