I compared it to the screenshot for Dark Souls II. SSAO is not a toggleoption anymore, but has now several levels, High being maximum. Difference within the selections is possible though (for example an added Medium option); I lack the original game to compare it.

Those settings can be accessed within the game again (Video Settings). I took a look and it seems to be identical. No more settings are available and none are restricted.
