I guess you could just make examples of these cases and personally I wouldn't be against including other ones.
It's not like I hate alternatives, but if you are a random noob, too many (99% of times redundant) options are going to scare you. Granted.
even though I must admit that when I see something with source code on github I instinctively see it under a better light :s
