It been more than 2 years that Temporarily removed from purchase pending Capcom's investigation into an installation issue for Lost planet 1 colonies edition and lost planet 2, it a pity from capcom about never fixing this issue by simply removing GFWL with a simple exe file fix just like RE5 this year, I know lost planet saga is a dead IP and Capcom doesn't care, it is what it is, a pity.

If I remember it right, GFWL is a red herring. Getting the game to work with GFWL is as easy as installing PCGW's copy of the latest version of GFWL.

What remains an issue possibly for this game but definitely for Lost Planet 2 is the crash on launch for >6 CPUs, which is like all CPUs sold nowadays. So at least Lost Planet 2 doesn't crash due to GFWL, Windows 10 or 11, or any other such reason -- it crashes due to the game not supporting CPUs with more than 6 cores though a community fix exists.
