"Borderless Windowed" fix doesn't seem to work anymore

I'm using version 22.11.1.1 of Special K (SKIF 0.9.11) and the game crashes when loading a save or after the intro when starting a new game. It also doesn't matter if i apply the borderless hack or not, the game just doesn't seem to like the method of injection, which was changed from older versions of Special K, maybe?! the game runs without a hitch without Special K.

i'm now using borderless gaming to play it in borderless windowed mode, although that app isn't as reliable as it used to be anymore. still, it gets the job done in any case.
