Crash To Desktop After Loading Map

Battlefront 2 has issues working with Windows Vista and 7 which can cause the game to crash without an error message on loading a map. To solve this issue, open up the control panel and navigate to the 'Sound' options. From there select 'Manage audio devices' and open the recording tab, then right click in the empty space at the bottom of the list and make sure to check 'Show Disabled Devices' and you should see a new item appear titled 'Stereo Mix'. Enable this and the game will no longer encounter this error.
