GAME.DAT file is the save game.
PROFILE.DAT file contains the settings and statistics.
journal.txt debug information, always stored in the OS-specific folder.
The save games are cross-platform.
This game does not follow the XDG Base Directory Specification on Linux.

Importing and exporting save game and profile data

It's possible to export save data to simplify moving it between systems.
The name of the file must not be changed.
