Revision as of 10:01, 18 April 2020

This is a new area introduced April 18, 2020 as part of the Taxonomy project.

This section is a subheader of the Availability row. It is a combination of a free text area and a list of how the game implements their microtransactions.

Directly below the Availability and DLC tables will sit this new header:

Microtransactions
Guidelines

 • Please refer to Microtransactions article for terminiology.
 • Use the phrase real money purchase to indicate an exchage of real money for microtransactions.
 • Each statement should be referenced.
 • Each sentence should be as concise as possible, no more than one or two sentences per point.
 • Every game has a different term for a currency/loot box/cosmetic etc. bold each term for readability, e.g. Bright Engrams.

List

 • The list must correspond with the Taxonomy list of microtransactions which should be entered manually into the Infobox game section, refer to Taxonomy.
 • Delete any non-applicable microtransactions.
 • The list can be reordered for readability, but ideally start with Currency (to introduce how real money purchases are made) and end with Finite/infinite cap.
*Currency: Begin with this row ideally to explain how real money is directly exchange for in-game currency, then how it is earned in-game. Try not to mention other currencies unless necessary.
*Loot box: What drops from the loot box
*[[Cosmetic (microtransaction)]Cosmetic]:
*Unlock:
*Boost:
*Pay-to-skip:
*Infinite cap / *Finite cap:
