It is currently in alpha, to access the alpha, beta and release you can pre-order the game.
The game developers release alpha builds roughly once per month. However, the game has major issues with some graphic cards, checking the wolfire wiki supported card page can give you a view on what cards are and what cards are not working and what alpha build the test was preformed on.
