Flash game without any problems of performance and compatibility. Several people complain about losing game saves. Same developers of games Samorost (2003) and Samorost 2 (2005).
Save Game Data
External Application
The save game is not in the same folder of the game, but in a shared folder for Adobe Flash files, then this program is designed to make a backup of it whenever possible. Just copy it to directory where you have your Machinarium.exe file and run it. You will be asked if you want to store the remote game's file to local dir and or restore this file from the local dir to the place which is used by the game. http://machinarium.net/download/saves.exe
Folder Location
Windows 7:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\(random characters) \localhost\Program Files\Machinarium\machinarium.exe
CCleaner
CCleaner can remove the save of the game when he makes a clean, perform this procedure so it does not delete it:
- Go to CCleaner
- Click on "Applications"
- Uncheck Flash Player application i.e. "Adobe Flash Player" from Multimedia Group
- Now run ccleaner.
