Aspect Ratio and Resolution

Just Cause is only able to run in 4:3 mode without modification. To allow any custom resolution, unzip this file (mirror) in the target game folder, where JustCause.exe resides and edit the resolution.ini file to set your preferred resolution. All game elements work in wide-screen, though cut-scenes, the in-game PDA, and some other elements may appear stretched.

Windowed mode

Execute the game with the command line parameter -windowed.

Crash on Windows Key

This game has been known to crash or become unresponsive on a press of the Windows key. You may wish to disable it.
