Template:Infobox

Game uses heavily modified Quake engine and it's greatly optimized, even older PCs can run it with a steady framerate.

Version Differences

Game is available in retail and later was released on steam. A valid CD-Key is required to play online.

Patches

There are 7 patches but you only need last two.

These two patches are around 300MB in size.

Issues and fixes

Missing d3dx9_43.dll or similar .ddl file

Update or install DirectX.

Tweaks

Game is highly customizable by using console commands. You can enable console in game's options.

Show FPS Counter

  1. Enable console in options
  2. Press tilde (~)
  3. Type in /cg_drawFPS 1

Unlock FPS

  1. Enable console in options
  2. Press tilde (~)
  3. Type in /com_maxFPS 250 - for 250FPS

Please note that on some servers it forbbiden to have more then 250FPS locked and you might get kicked/banned by server admins. The reason for this is that on a higher framerate the character can jump higher, leading to game exploits.
