Key Remapping
Key remapping works fairly well, although there can be some problems remapping the controller keys (the remapping is not saved). See Controller for more information.
Controller
Some controllers (usually cheap ones) get the wrong keys assigned. Since the Key Remapping doesn't work for controllers, this can become a problem. This can be solved by using a XBox 360 Controller Emulator, such as x360ce. Put the .exe on the game folder and run it. It will create some files and it should auto-detect the game. Then configure your controller with it. Every time you launch the game, x360ce will run automatically.
