Autopatcher refuses to patch

This has been tested on Impulse Driven.

Go to the directory your game is installed in (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft), right click the Anno 2070 folder and enter the properties menu. Click security, and give yourself Full Control Permission. Apply, Okay, and retry running the game.

Game crashes on startup

The game seems to hate overlays. Steam and UPlay don't cause issues, but a lot of other software, such as third-party screenshot makers, antialiasing utilities like MacType, cause crashes on startup. Disable or close them beforehand.
