I have tried the retail version of my game with dgvoodo at 60fps and the flashing lights above 30fps are not appear. It only happens if I play the game without dgvoodo so I suppose that it is something that breaks in modern windows. I suppose those effects use interpolation above 30fps and in modern windows it is not working it only works with dgvoodo. I have also tried the gog version of the game at 60fps and the flashing lights do not appear,although the gog version I think uses a wrapper similar to dgvoodo. So it seems to me that the statement that they say here that the lights are flashing above 30fps is wrong
