Change FPS Cap with Cheat Engine (SASRT)

I can't get the cheat engine method to work for changing the FPS cap for Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed. Could you provide me the code for a 30FPS cap?

Hi Banan,

Throughout the page I mentioned several times the the in-engine cap is inaccurate and users should use external cappers as much as possible (RTSS, GPU Control Panel, etc.) or to force v-sync externally (with custom intervals, meaning 1/2 refresh rate on a 60Hz panel). Changing the FPS cap to a lower 30 FPS value will most likely give around ~28 FPS. If you're worried about the game speed differences that'll occur given a discrepancy between max and current frame rate, it shouldn't be an issue in your case; console versions are most likely running with the same 60 FPS internal limit but with 1/2 refresh v-sync.

However, I'm curious as to why the cheat engine method didn't work for you. Could you elaborate on that? Did you try hex editing the executable (even with the high frame rate values) to if see that would work?

Anyways, I currently don't have the game installed. If you insist on using the internal cap, It will take time for me to reinstall it and check the 30 FPS hex edit.
