Anisotropic filtering forced through the GPU panel

After making a change on the GTA III page, I have received a mail saying:

"Editor's summary: When it's possible through the GPU driver control panel, the AF setting should be set to False, and the notes field empty so the Glossary reference can appear, as not everyone uses NVIDIA cards."

Is this really the case, though? Almost every page on this site has the "Can be forced through the GPU panel." written in the notes for AF. And if it was the case, this would have nothing to do with the type of a GPU panel, since both AMD and nVidia have the option to force AF through their respective panels. Hence, I strongly disagree with leaving the notes field empty, since most of the new users simply won't go to the glossary link for a general solution to a specific problem. It makes more sense to have the field filled with info, BUT I wouldn't disagree with leaving the icon as X instead of the "hackable", since both are true (which was the only change I made). An admin should have this resolved, since if you were right, that would mean probably a HUNDRED pages have this wrong, and I just don't think you are right about this.

No, since the Glossary is more comprehensive about giving different solutions to the problem, and also an admin reverted changes I did about this topic before and told me that when it's possible to force AA or AF through the GPU's driver control panel, the field should be left False with empty notes, as to reveal the glossary note, so it should be left as such. About the other pages that are left like that, they simply weren't all edited yet to reflect such changes. Unless there is a very specific fix that needs to be made for a specific game regarding AA/AF, then that should be in the notes, which it isn't the case here.

I have an unrelated question concerning mods for GTA III. Mod Loader for GTA III requires the game executable to be 1.0, it doesn't work with 1.1. Should this be noted on the page, since it isn't noted on the download page of the mod, or is this covered by the previous "...the v1.0 executable is recommended" note in the Essential Improvements section?

ok, then I shall change the other pages to fit this, too, if you claim it is admin approved.
