It doesn't seem to have any impact at all. Whether I put it in or not, the game shows the same thing: a fake VCR tracking followed by a VHS quality spinning Ubisoft logo. Then it goes to the usual "Don't turn off the game while saving" message. Anyone get anything different?

How are you trying to apply this flag?
Seems most (if not all) of the recent Dunia-based Far Cry games have some kind of weirdness when trying to apply commandline flags. I've had some success in FC4 with the skipintro flag, but FC3 required patching the .fat files in order to skip the intro videos.
Just using a standard shortcut.
