- Allows the game to run properly on modern computers, adds some mod support, improves and includes more graphical options for the game.

- Requires the original, installed-from-CD version 1.0 executable with a no-CD patch applied, or the Unofficial Patch for the Steam and GOG releases.

- Disable mode changes when entering the menu.
- Forces the game to run in 32 bit color depth.
- Fixes the HUD getting smaller at higher resolutions.
- Automatic FOV correction in any aspect ratio.
- Disables the 'manual' mipmapping employed by the game that makes distant textures blurry.
- Fixes music playback.
- Better compatibility with Xinput gamepads.
- Incompatible with most other mods and patches; will break the modded installations.

Issues unresolved
Enemies (including the final boss) not activating lightsabers in the last levels
On the last two levels (Level 13 Sith Temple and 14 Sith Temple Catacombs) some enemies appear as stone statues with lightsabers. Sometimes some of them (but not all) fail to activate their lightsabers and therefore just run after the player. This can happen with the final boss as well, who is still able to hurt the player by different means.
All versions including the original release may be affected. A potential fix is to simply restart the game a few times.[14]

Seemingly low framerate or stuttering
The game updates camera movement at only 30 FPS, even though the game runs at 60 FPS. If the game is running at 120fps, the camera updates at 40fps. This can give the appearance of poor performance and can be improved by capping the framerate below 49. Additional side effects (such as first-person weapon animation) may also appear with high framerate. If you only have a 60hz monitor you should probably limit the game to 30 fps (you'll at least get proper weapon speeds) or 47/48 fps if you don't mind some framepacing stutter.
