Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is a singleplayer and multiplayer bird's-eye view sports game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series.
The game was released as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 9 in Japan and North America. In South Korea, a special release titled Winning Eleven 9: Liveware Evolution (commonly referred to as WE9LE) with gameplay changes months after the original release. This release was acclaimed by the community and was preferred in multiplayer.
