Running the game on 64-bit Windows

Although the game installer is 16-bit, the actual game is 32-bit. There are two ways of running the game:

#1: Run the game directly from the disk

Running the exe from the disk[citation needed]
  1. In the Widget Workshop CD, go to the WIN95\WIDGET folder.
  2. Run the WIDGET.EXE file to play the game.

#2: Manually install the game

This also allows the game to no longer require a CD to use
Setting up the game manually[citation needed]
  1. Somewhere on the computer (ex. the Desktop), create a new folder called "Widget Workshop".
  2. In the Widget Workshop CD, go to the WIN95\WIDGET folder.
  3. Copy the contents of the folder and paste them into the folder that was created before.
  4. When everything has finished copying, go into the installation folder and run the WIDGET.EXE file to play the game.
