Ultra-widescreen[edit]

Modify a configuration file and use the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Console Unlocker for FOV compensation[2]
  1. Launch the game and set the graphics settings as desired. Make sure the aspect ratio is 16:9, then quit the game.
  2. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  3. Open GameUserSettings.ini.
  4. Find ResolutionSizeX and ResolutionSizeY and modify the width and height as necessary (e.g. ResolutionSizeX=3840 and ResolutionSizeY=1080), then save the file.
  5. Launch the game and enable the developer console.
  6. At the gameplay, enter FOV 126.87 (for 32:9) to vertically match the default FOV of 16:9. Any other value is possible.
Accessing the graphics options and applying will reset the resolution and require taking the steps again.

Field of view (FOV)[edit]

Use the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Console Unlocker to set any FOV[2]
  1. Follow the instructions to enable the developer console in the game.
  2. Enter FOV X where X is the desired value.
All FOV changes get reset upon closing the game.
Increase FOV by setting its value to vertical in a config file
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Engine.ini.
  3. Add the following lines:
[/Script/Engine.LocalPlayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
A significant increase from the default 16:9 value.

High dynamic range display (HDR)[edit]

Instructions[citation needed]

HDR can be enabled with a simple Engine.ini edit. Open the run command with Windows Key+R and paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Visage\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ and press enter. Lastly, add the lines listed below to the Engine.ini file:
[SystemSettings]
r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1
r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=5
r.HDR.Display.ColorGamut=1 and then save.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/594330/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (594330) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
