based on what, you are supposing that the mod will break some mission? i personally uploaded the mod on the social.bioware.. and in the included readme i have the list of the videos which are mission specific too.. are you referring only that people could "miss" them? or are you talking about real issues with the game, like crash or freezing?
Mass effect 2 improved loading time note
Sorry for not writing down the correct results. So far, the only mission I have noticed a problem with is !spoiler!the mission where the Collectors invade the Normandy!spoiler!. I used "some" because I don't know if there are any missions in the game starting in the same manner as that mission. There are no issues with crashing or anything like it. Only that when the mission starts you are still in the Normandy with your team instead of inside the Kodiak.
Also, I did check the list in the readme-file. However, I might have missed one or two files. I will test this again and see what happens.
I do think the problem is on my side. I believe I replaced load_f21.bik and load_f22.bik and that they are the files required for that mission. The article will be edited with "the included readme-file lists some loading-screens that you may not want to remove as they are unique"
should i edit the readme in your opinion? or is this clear enough?
Hmm, yes. Instead of saying that they are unique. I recommend saying that they are required to advance the main plot. This mustn't be related to all already listed in the read-me. But to the load_f21.bik and load_f22.bik at least. I think they are the one causing problems if replaced.
done (after more than a month..) :p i removed those 2 files and edited the readme
btw would you mind testing nassana's quest on illium to verify that changing its loading logos doesn't harm the game? thank you
Are you referring to the extremely low-res loading screen when you're on your way to pick up Thane? Sure!
First loading screen worked. The second will do just that as well, most likely. Now when Nexusmods allows all games, you should mirror it there.
i will do so
btw i was referring to the part where load_f19 is loaded
You've got an endorsement!
i'm the most endorsed mod on the ME2 nexus then :D
