Ok, ok if I do some further testing tonight then? Will revert it for now till I look deeper into it.
Ok, did more testing, HBAO+ certainly DOES apply some AO (can be seen on windows of buildings), but especially under cars in shadow, SSAO still looks much better. Will add a twist of this to the article.
