Using the -noblur command is not ideal. It disables camera motion blur, per-object motion blur, and the atmospheric blur effect in the air but also disables the darkness effect around characters. The author of the edited VectorBlur.obj file originally provided two files, the other being Blur.obj. By using both files it is possible keep the darkness effect while getting rid of the other effects. Despite his own claims, using both files is not identical to the -noblur command, since the darkness effect is preserved that way.

Here is the original source for the files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7K6G9IDBUI

I have edited the PCGW page to reflect that and included the Blur.obj file in the download: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alan_Wake#Motion_Blur
