I own the Standard Edition on Steam and Deluxe on Origin, is there a point getting DE on Steam or should I just get the DLC Bundle on Origin since DE doesn't include all DLCs and they're downloaded through Origin anyway?

"All of the DLCs are available in a bundle on Origin, bypassing the Bioware Points. Steam and retail versions can use separate installers to access them for free (direct links are provided below for convenience)."

How exactly does it work, isn't there a check through Cerberus/Origin?

Uuuhhh... beats me... but no, doesn't seem to be a reason to get the DE edition on Steam since it doesn't come with the content DLCs.

That said, it's worth giving the "access them for free" a shot since it's an actual EA page and links: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/#masseffect

If it works then it works, if not then it doesn't work.

You can download and install these DLC for free but you need to buy it to have access to these DLC these installers on EA page are for people that have Steam version or box version after installation you need to log in to Cerberus network/EA account on which you bought DLC
