Directly adds over W8 problems

Possible symptoms of Direct3D8EnableMaximizedWindowedModeShim are:

  • crashes (Mafia)
  • FMV videos flickering (Splinter Cell 1)
  • forced windowed mode (Silent Hill 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4)
  • broken brightness/contrast sliders (Splinter Cell: PT)
