Topic on Talk:Resident Evil HD Remaster

BONKERS (talkcontribs)

At the header of the article, I feel that some of these may be questionable choices and rather than just change them, i'd like to get other opinions on the matter.

" Advantage Upscaled and enhanced textures

Advantage BSAA outfits from Resident Evil 5
   Advantage 4 controller presets "

I'm not sure these are really advantages,

Upscaled textures are honestly pretty mediocre and not the kind of treatment the game deserved IMHO.

They could've given the team a bigger budget and not only upscale them as a base, but have a team of artists manually paint over to fix all of the major issues while retaining the original art style. It's entirely possible and Ubisoft's HOM&M III HD proves this.

9/10 textures are pre-rendered sub 480p textures upscaled, and I think this should be a disadvantage.

The BSAA outfits are pretty superficial IMO, I dont' know how it's much of an advantage especially given that these look like they were ripped straight from RE5 without any effort to make them look period accurate for the characters.

4 Controller presets, I think would be better worded as something along the lines of "Has the option to play without tank controls"

I agree with you reasoning, BONKERS. That said, I think a better way to describe 4 Controller presets IMO would be "Choice of classic (tank) and modern controls" to make it clear the original controller preset is there for those who prefer them over the new ones.

Arg, no one else voicing their opinion and those key points seem to be becoming more and more bloated without any references for some of'em.

I've removed some key points that are already covered in the standard templates. The difficulty and outfits are probably not key point material. Not every game feature/change needs a key point.
