The Terminator 2029 is a first-person action game taking place in the future war depicted in the film The Terminator. The player takes control of a member of John Connor's Special Operations Group and uses a suit of advanced combat armor to fight against the machine army and attempt to destroy Skynet.

The game originally released in 1992, followed by its expansion pack Operation Scour in 1993. The Deluxe CD Edition, which packages both the base game and Operation Scour together along with additional audio, was released in 1994.
