The Legend of Dragoon is a game developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Severed Chains is an unofficial PC port of the game based on a decompilation of the game's code. It was decompiled into assembly, and then rebuilt in Java.
The game was made available as a beta on March 26, 2023.[2] A second stable build was released in July 2023, implementing most of the missing features.[3] The next release is expected by summer 2024 featuring: screen resolution up to 4K, 60FPS in all areas except combat, true widescreen in combat and worldmap, and hardware rendering.
