User Interface is misaligned at 4:3 aspect ratio[edit]

Some UI elements are inaccessible due to being pushed off-screen at 4:3 resolutions. The Options menu is notably affected by this.[11]

Lights of Rebellion disappear from inventory[edit]

Lights of Rebellion can vanish from players' inventories. Use them quickly to avoid losing them.[12]

  1. Open the Network and Sharing Center.
  2. Click on the Internet connection and select Properties.
  3. Select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  4. Click the radio button for Use the following DNS server addresses:.
  5. Enter one of the following DNS server pairs:
    • Cloudflare: and
    • Google: and
    • OpenDNS: and
  6. Click OK to save changes.
This fix can also be applied on the router itself rather than on the PC to use these DNS servers on all devices within the network.

Cannot interact with objects in hideout, or hideout is dark[edit]

Follow the light to the other train car and follow the instructions there[12]

Cannot find games to invade as Stalker[edit]

Try playing with a different Steam Download Region[15]
  1. In Steam, choose Settings from the Steam menu.
  2. Click on Downloads in the list on the left side.
  3. Pick a different Download Region from the drop-down menu.

Game does not recognize microphone for Enhanced Horror[edit]

Set recording device in Steam input settings[16]
  1. Press Shift+Tab in-game to bring up the Steam overlay.
  2. Click SETTINGS at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Go to the IN-GAME VOICE tab.
  4. Change Recording (audio input) device if necessary.
Adjust Windows Sound Control Panel settings[16]
  1. Open the Sound Control Panel in Windows.
  2. Go to the Recording tab.
  3. Disable any unused devices that might be interfering (e.g., a headset with a broken microphone).
  4. Right-click on the desired microphone device and set it to Enabled and Default Communication Device.
Check settings for OBS or other mic controller/audio monitor software that re-routes audio channels[16]
