For some reason the game isn't playing any music, the original PS1 release always had a full OST.
Talk:Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour
All uploads of this release and my own experience can confirm that at least on newer operating systems, music outside of the main menu just doesn't play despite being in the games files. I don't know if there's a fix for this.
ever find a fix for this?
Does anyone know how I can get the music to work in game? it works at main menu but not when racing
I tried everything but i can't get the intro logos and cutscenes to work properly. Otherwise the game works well on modern computers, i added some fixes for random crashes & music not playing.
I did a bit of investigation on the ESCAPE video codec, and included everything i could find about it. Patches have been made for games like Soul Reaver 1 (see https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Legacy_of_Kain:_Soul_Reaver#Bink-support_for_SR1_.28Video-Patch.29) to convert .RPL to .BIK format and enable support in-game. Maybe it's possible to do something similar here.
It's finally FIXED! Thanks to the Toy Story 2 Fix, everything is now working :D
How did you get the music to work in game? I've tried everything that i can think of
The game reads my resolution, I re-tested this again to confirm that it works. http://i.imgur.com/WjL5JZw.jpg
How can this be handled? I did add a note on how to get these resolutions, but apparently that was wrong, I'm a bit confused.
Actually, nevermind what I said, this game is incredibly buggy, I'll just leave this for now as it is. There's lot's of weird problems in here.
I have a feeling this game might hate Windows 8 :v
I'm not sure what's going on but the game crashes after making a New Game. This is on Windows 8, I didn't realize the game only works up until the first main menus, but that's about it.
