Can't find EAX setting in GoG version (X-fi + Alchemy), only A3D (which i can't activate).. So no surround sound support for me.

Hmm, they mainly discussing A3D support, but maybe this applies also to EAX 2 support (patch 1.2 break it)

  • Under game options there is an option: Sync every frame - it most definitely isn't the same as Vsync.
  • Launcher itself is written in proper 32bit (it's DemoShield Run-Time player). However, a file launching it (D:\Setup.exe) is in 16bit and because of that - autorun throws an error. As I stated on a page - installer is also 32bit and it's located in (D:\Setup\Setup.exe).
  • Like pretty much every game on id tech 3 - this one as well has cl_mouseAccel set to 0 by default.
  • There is a force feedback support. It also may be possible to make proper bindings for X360 gamepad - although, the game seems to be missing ID Tech's Advaxis commands - I'll investigate it further, later on. While the game supports basic joystick and bindings to gamepad keys, the lack of ID Tech's Advaxis functions, makes it impossible to properly bind axis to movement or looking. Because of that, I don't see other solution than using programs like Xpadder or JoyToKey, to conserve at least some form of analogue movement.
  • Yes, game's Expension pack is actually called - Expension Pack. Please don't remove it from the list!
