Can the game run at above 60 FPS?

Disabling the in-game frame limiter and v-sync makes the game run at 200 FPS or so! But I only have a 60 Hz monitor. Can anyone confirm that it does indeed run at higher frame rates? If so, does that introduce any bugs or nah?

Having a 60hz monitor has nothing to do with the game running at 200FPS or not, if you say vsync can be toggled off.
