Anybody launched it at Windows 10 64bit?

Tried the hint with setting Setup.exe to Win 98/ME compatibility mode and installed it. It's from original CD from one issue of Score so no DRM I think. When I launch NYR.exe I can save resolution and details setup then it plays two animations and stop responding - actually my whole system just freezes and it takes several minutes to be able to kill the app from task manager. Any other hints? I'm thinking about virtual Win 98 in VirtualBox.

Hi, I own the original retail CD release so my experience might be different. All I really had to do was set compatibility mode on the setup program and replace the exe as a way to circumvent the DRM - won't launch otherwise. After that I could play the game normally. I am not sure what you mean by these "two animations"? I believe these are the intro cinematics, and I assume they required the Indeo 5 codec as the setup warns you. I haven't bothered to install these codecs because I assumed they won't work at all. As these intros play, i get black screen but audio keeps playing - however intro is skippable and you should be at the yellow menu screen.

My guess is that you installed the Indeo 5 codecs and they screwed something up? Other than that, I have no idea. Sorry. Other than that I can suggest messing around with graphic drivers settings and trying to source a different copy of the game - the original definitely has DRM.

Back then it didn't work, I didn't do anything in the meantime and now it runs just as you say - strange.
