Found out that the graphical bug was from having DxWnd set to run the game windowed. After getting in game, the game runs *far* too fast, even with setting the frame limiter to 15, in both DX and nGlide. Using the CPU slowdown option just makes the game choppy while retaining the speed issues.

Native resolution varies widely between editions. Editions with 3dfx renderers can run at any given resolution when using a wrapper (bearing in mind the 4:3 aspect ratio limitation). nGlide supports resolutions all the way up to 4K Ultra HD.
