I tried to find the 'source = "OpeningTitles.lua"' text string, but it seems to be missing from the Steam binary.
I've found another string, 'Data/Resources/OpeningTitles.lua' which can also be replaced to skip the intros and also doesn't seem to cause the menu background to appear for a split second.
So I've added it below the original fix.
A post over at reddit here mentions that the music is not playing properly in area as they should be (not looping right, wrong music, etc.).
