The glitch with harry's glasses not rendering occurs in the second game as well. To fix for the second game. Go to the Harry potter and the chamber of secrets files, go to system. There is a configuration file named "default". Then follow the same steps listed in the guide for sorcerer's stone (listed above) Should fix that issue.
After the first cutscene where dumbledore introduces himself to Harry, I can’t get Harry to move when I press the arrow buttons on my keyboard. I have checked the control settings and everything looks fine there, but I’m not sure what’s causing this issue
Are you playing at uncapped frame rate? Game has serious problems at high FPS. Also, try remapping every control key before starting a new game.
That sort of fixed it. I can move Harry forwards and backwards without any issue, but when I press the left and right arrow keys, Harry steps to the left and right instead of turning.
That's odd. I'm pretty sure strafing left/right was introduced in Chamber of Secrets and wasn't possibile in Philosopher's Stone without mods. Anyway, just use W and S (or Up arrow and Down arrow) to move forward/backward and the mouse to turn Harry. It's the best way to play.
game is capped at 60 fps but some soundeffects randomly stop playing or play some parts twice or doesnt play at all. happens when there are multiple stuff making noise like someone talking + picking up something

The game was running at ~ 5fps in the menu. After changing setting color depth to 32-bit the game toggled to my monitor's refresh rate. Windows 10 64-bit.
