Regarding 30FPS limits, the somewhat recent extension for Halo CE called Chimera which, among other things, can interpolate animations throughout the game.

Forcen (talkcontribs)

Isn't this a multiplayer only fix? No way to get a better framerate on singleplayer? If it is then it should be clarified on the wiki.

Keith (talkcontribs)

No. It works for the Custom Edition single-player campaign.

VoidsShadow (talkcontribs) As of dgVoodoo W.I.P 51, dgVoodoo has become capable of wrapping DirectX9 games to DirectX 11 via D3D9.dll. This means we can now use dgVoodoo's mouse capture, which prevents input such as scrolling from applying to applications which are out of focus. This sort of thing is easiest to test on a multi-monitor setup.

Keith (talkcontribs)

Thanks; I added it.

VoidsShadow (talkcontribs)

Update: DirectX9 support has been moved to the Stable release branch as of version 2.60 (July-7-2019). As such, the WIP suffix has been dropped.

Two actions can come out of one button press with third party tools, what it states is false "Controller remapping: You cannot bind two actions to a single button under any circumstances." utilities like: joytokey, antimicro, & GlovePIE can change what halo sees as input to accomplish this.

Third party utilities can edit Halos bindings to execute more then one action; Yumiris SPv3 launcher is the example here. as i don't own a controller i can't test anything but i will edit to say "You cannot bind two actions to a single button with out third-party tools" with the hope that some one with a controller will write a section on how to do it. lets try to have the most useful information possible here.

Agent Slacker (talkcontribs)

Wasn't trying to mislead. I probably should have been more specific and mentioned that it's not possible through the game itself, and not third-party tools. When I said under any circumstances, I meant within the game itself. My bad.

Mirh (talkcontribs)

Controller-to-keyboard software should not count, otherwise then just about every game should be hackable.

Game-specific launcher on the other hand seems cool.

SomeFan (talkcontribs)

I think your right! just was not thinking well.

Game-specific launcher by currently branded for SPv3 but works fine for Vanilla.

AmethystViper (talkcontribs)

Sorry to necro, but this launcher just crashes on me when I try to boot it up without having SVP3 after creating a fresh install of Halo CE.

SomeFan (talkcontribs)

Try deleting/renaming "Halo CE" found in "My Documents/My Games", if that don't work look at there troubleshooting steps. also use the latest version

if those don't work please use My Email or Discord, this is not a good place to supply Tech support. this whole thread gives me regret :( also sorry about the late response, HTTPS urls make the reCAPTCHA check run again

the reliability record for by Btcc22's is poor & the site it's self is more of a development blog then then a user front end, on the other hand we have i clearly well designed easy to understand user oriented site sanctioned by the the developer for people to use his product. so why use the blog site Keith? i won't start a editing battle but i hope you will come around.

P.S. i don't really know what to do about differing opinions so how do i settle this?

Keith (talkcontribs)

I made a hasty edit, now I've reverted it. Thanks for the heads up!
