So to run this game I had to use dgvoodoo also patched the disc game and used widescreen mode afterwards. But I still can't solve this issue: I can't see cursor - the patch nor the dgvoodoo or widescreen mod fixed it.

OK I've found a fix! Copied this over the dgvoodoo d3d9.dll and it works with visible cursor! moddb.com/downloads/proper-windows-7-fix-for-act-of-war
