State of Survival is a multiplayer bird's-eye view and free-roaming camera building, strategy, survival and tower defense game.

It was released first on Android and iOS on September 6, 2019. PC version was released on September 7, 2022 in conjunction of game's 3rd anniversary celebration. Although the game was advertised as PC game, it actually uses Android emulator LDPlayer to run the game on PC. As of 1.18.50 update, the game received an update to remove LDPlayer and converted as native PC game using Unity engine on February 28, 2023.

On August 2, 2023, the game was released on Steam. FunPlus account can be used to connect with Steam version game progress but not vice versa.

Free-to-play	Game is free-to-play with microtransactions in the form of currency purchases.
Subscription	Players can purchase a subscription called the Daily Drop Pack or Daily Drop Premium Pack, in which grants 100 or 200 Biocaps every day the player logs in.

Microtransactions

Boost	Players can purchase certain packs to obtain boost items and character's fragments to shorten the time needed to upgrade.
Cosmetic	Players can purchase cosmetic items such as skins, avatar frames or decorations in-game. Certain cosmetic items may comes with boost effects.
Currency	Real money is used to purchase Diamonds. Diamonds are used to purchase various boost item packs or Biocaps in the game.
Finite spend	Certain boost packs are limited to certain amount of purchases.
Free-to-grind	Players can earn Biocaps and VIP points through completing daily quests, and obtaining achievements.
Infinite spend	Certain items are available to purchase without limitation.
Loot box	New characters, character's fragments, combat manuals, hero badges and other boost items can be obtained through a gacha system using Advanced Search ticket or Epic Search ticket to purchase rolls.
Time-limited	Players can obtain limited time characters by fulfilling certain criteria or thru purchasing certain boost pack.
