Just what is this referring to? I can't find single Crazy Taxi released on PC in 2011 :|
Is that just mix up with Steam version or what?

Marioysikax (talkcontribs)

It was actually part of the Dreamcast Collection https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamcast_Collection

So, at least according to wikipedia, first release for PC was 2002, then at 2011 was the Dreamcast collection rerelease updated to work with more modern machines, then at 2014 Sega updated the Steam version of the Dreamcast collection while retail and from digital retailers selling DRM-free copy wasn't updated and is still the same as original 2011 release.

SOOOO, we are actually one article short from the list then. There should be Crazy Taxi (2011) there :p

E: I know it's stupid to have "Crazy Taxi (2011)" and "Crazy Taxi (Steam)" because they are essentially same release with other one updated, but because update was so large and only done for Steam, they can't be on same article.

Ah. Thanks for clearing this up. This is silly :D
So this one could potentionally be the old 2011 one?

Yes, as it states DRM-Free and I can't find update outside Steam version. Also Dreamcast Collection is sold and DRM Starforce is mentioned, not steam.

Then there's still the physical version. I can't be 100% sure for digital download ones (and even many local retailers are selling it trough their own bloatware) as those services could get updated version of the game, but with physical I can be almost certain as it would require seperate patch downloading and I'm almost certain they didn't come with Steam keys (kinda confirm as I can see those being sold second hand on ebay and one regional similar site).

Steam version actually had bug with config utility as physical versions installer would add single registry value that steam version didn't do and nobody were able to save config changes.

Yes, this is really silly situation. Personally would've liked to just update the article to match steam version as sega has been trying to guide people to steam and forget other versions exsisting. But as the situation is, there will be 2-4 articles per game of that collection...
