RiMS Racing is a singleplayer and multiplayer first-person and third-person racing and simulation game developed by Raceward Studio and published by Nacon.

The game was first released on August 19, 2021 on Steam with the scheduled launch on Epic Games Store delayed to November 4.[1][2] During its' initial launch, the game was received fairly good by critics and players alike, though both have pointed out issues with the game: the erroneous AI, issues with controller support and crashing problems among the most frequent.

Game crashes at launch on newer Nvidia GPUs

Update graphics drivers[8]
This problem is caused by an compatibility issue with the 496.13 version of the driver. Nvidia has already released an hotfix.
  1. Download the 496.61 Hotfix drivers or newer from Nvidia's site and update the drivers.

Issues when using a controller

Disable Steam Input[9]
This issue has been fixed with the 1.5 update.
  1. Open Steam and navigate to the game-specific controller options:
    • Library -> right-click on the game -> Properties
  2. Change the controller override to Disable Steam Input.
  3. Click OK or Close to save the changes.
  4. Restart the game if it is currently running.
