Patch 1.01 fixes several bugs. English/German version of the patch also removes the disc check.
Despite the patch having regional versions, RallyTrophy.exe is identical across all the versions, and therefore it is possible to remove the disc check from regional versions by copying it from the English/German patch.

Use Rally Trophy Widescreen Fix[citation needed]
  1. Download Rally Trophy Widescreen Fix and unpack it to the installation folder.
  2. If you want to run the game in borderless fullscreen windowed mode, open widescreen.ini, go to the line windowed=0 and set it to windowed=1. Now start GameLauncher.exe and choose the same resolution as your desktop.

  1. Download dsoal .
  2. Copy dsound.dll and dsoal-aldrv.dll to the game install directory.
  3. Optionally replace the bundled dsoal-aldrv.dll with latest OpenAL Soft equivalent.
